ABOUT UGC NET EXAMINATION
UGC NET is a type of competitive exam in which we test of eligibility for college and university level lecturership and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship. It objectives to ensure minimum specification for the entrants in teaching professions and research. On side of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the test the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only.


CBSE organized the UGC NET exam but from December 2019 onwards, NTA will be conducting the UGC National Eligibility Test. As per the Indian Government, the exam would be conducted two times in a year, and it will be conducted in an online instead of a written exam.
